Shenzhou Aluminum Silicate Fiber Blanket is a lightweight, flexible and foil-faced fireproof wrap developed for the external protection of galvanized steel smoke-control and exhaust ducts. Its aluminum silicate fiber core helps reduce heat transfer, while the laminated aluminum foil facing improves handling strength and limits water vapor penetration.
The product is suitable for ventilation ducts, oil-fume exhaust ducts, high-temperature exhaust pipes and chemical exhaust systems in commercial, public and industrial buildings. In the specified duct assembly, 30 mm, 40 mm and 50 mm insulation thicknesses provide fire resistance periods of 60, 90 and 120 minutes respectively.
Aluminum Silicate Fiber Blanket provides a practical solution where lightweight construction, A1 non-combustibility and defined fire-rated system performance are required.
The aluminum silicate fiber core achieves an A1 combustion classification, making it suitable for fire and smoke-control duct applications where non-combustible insulation materials are specified.
