Formaldehyde-free White Glass Wool

SHENZHOU operates complete white glass wool insulation production lines using the latest-generation technology to manufacture boards, sliced panels, rolled blankets, and pipes. These products meet residential and industrial thermal and acoustic insulation needs, fully complying with top international standards (EN, DIN, ASTM).

Overview of SHENZHOU Formaldehyde-Free White Glass Wool Insulation

SHENZHOU formaldehyde-free white glass wool is based on the traditional centrifugal glass wool process, with optimized raw material formulas and forming techniques. The result is extremely fine glass fibers combined with a new acrylic solid resin binder, completely abandoning chemical binders. The insulation contains no phenol, formaldehyde, urea, or other toxic substances, making it especially suitable for environments with high environmental requirements or dense personnel, such as medical facilities, pharmaceutical workshops, aseptic environments, high-grade commercial buildings, HVAC duct insulation, ceilings, and equipment insulation and sound absorption applications.

At the HOT END of the production system, raw materials are dosed, mixed, melted, and centrifuged into fibers. The fibers are impregnated with the acrylic binder and formed into a preliminary mat, which is then transported via continuous conveyors to the COLD END for binder polymerization. The product is subsequently cut to shape and packaged for shipping.

SHENZHOU glass wool is available in four main colors—yellow, white, pink, and black—and offers four facing options: FSK, Kraft, white cover, and BGT. All production lines comply with the latest international environmental regulations.

Eco-Friendly White Glass Wool

Application

SHENZHOU white glass wool insulation is lightweight and easy to install, making it ideal for:

Glass wool insulation materials have been developed in a variety of products to adapt to different application scenarios. The unique design allows the insulation to withstand working temperatures up to 442 °C, making it widely used for industrial equipment and piping insulation projects where surface temperatures reach 250 °C.

These products meet the heat insulation requirements of industries such as petroleum, chemical, light industry, metallurgy, and power generation. Typical applications include flues, hot air ducts, dust collectors, chimney linings, deaerator tanks, pulverizing systems, and desulfurization equipment. They are also suitable for pipelines with diameters greater than 200 mm and for long heat-transfer network pipelines.

  • ·   Office buildings and modern entertainment centers

  • ·   Roofs and HVAC systems

  • ·   Residential and industrial buildings, including:

    •       ♦  Walling and partitioning

    •       ♦  Faced and external walls

    •       ♦  Suspended ceilings

    •       ♦  Steel structures

    •       ♦  Prefabricated houses

    •       ♦  HVAC duct works

It also retains the key characteristics of traditional glass wool, including fire resistance, flexibility, elasticity, non-corrosiveness, and excellent thermal insulation performance.
