Aerogel thermal insulation felt SHF is a kind of high-temperature thermal insulation felt, using special fiber as the base material, prepared by nano-composite process. It features ultra-low thermal conductivity, Class A non-combustibility, waterproof & breathable properties, anti-corrosion stability, green environmental protection, light weight, durability, and easy construction. It is the most ideal thermal insulation material for pipelines, containers, tanks, equipment, etc.

 

Healthy and Environmentally Friendly
It does not contain asbestos, benzene, formaldehyde and other toxic and harmful substances, the structure is tight, the equipment can be reused after maintenance and disassembly, the environment is friendly, and there is no concern about industrial waste treatment.

Long Waterproof and Corrosion-resistant Life
The nanopore is stable, the overall structure is compact, the compression resilience is high, the inorganic aging resistance is strong, and the effective life is the same as that of the equipment.

Aerogel Insulation Felt for Industrial Pipelines and Equipment

Shenzhou SHF aerogel insulation felt is a flexible, high-temperature insulation material produced by combining a special fiber substrate with a nano-composite structure. It is designed for industrial pipelines, tanks, vessels and equipment where conventional insulation would require excessive thickness or installation space.

 

Two long-term service temperature grades are available: SHF ≤450°C and SHF ≤650°C. Standard thickness options include 3 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm and 10 mm, with a width of 1500 mm. At a mean temperature of 25°C, thermal conductivity is no more than 0.021 W/(m·K).

Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Equipment

Aerogel thermal insulation felt can be used around steam lines, thermal-oil pipelines, process equipment, vessels and storage systems in petroleum, chemical and pharmaceutical facilities.

Power Plants and District Heating

Typical applications include steam turbines, high-pressure steam pipelines, heating networks and long-distance thermal pipelines where heat-loss control and reduced insulation thickness are important.

Marine and Shipbuilding

The flexible felt is suitable for steam pipelines, exhaust ducts and medium- to high-temperature equipment installed in restricted spaces on large ships.

Industrial Tanks and Vessels

Aerogel felt can be wrapped around tanks, containers and equipment with curved or irregular surfaces. Its thin profile helps reduce the overall diameter of the completed insulation system.

Transportation Thermal Protection

The material can be considered for thermal and fire-insulation layers in rail vehicles, automobiles and other transportation equipment, subject to the applicable project standards.
